Southern Chile Part 1 The Pan-American Highway (Routa Sette) is a long gray scar running down the Central Plain of Chile bisecting the Andes and the Coastal Range. The Andes are majestic, seemingly endless snow covered peaks and while the Coastal Range is dwarfed by the scale of them, it is nonetheless formidable.
